Jane Buyers
I am a natural and experienced leader who brings warmth, integrity, humor and compassion to my work.
I believe that people lead more satisfying lives when they are aligned with what matters most to them and have the freedom to navigate their choices in a healthy and balanced way.
I co-founded IDEALS@WORK in 2011 with Mary Elizabeth Lynch, President of the Personal Transformation and Courage Institute (PTCI), and Wendy Rains, a former PTCI facilitator and curriculum developer, to bring the PTCI concepts into the work world.
A graduate of PTCI and a life-long student of transformational psychology and spiritual philosophy, I have also studied with internationally recognized facilitator Suzi Tucker, protégée of Bert Hellinger, assembler of the Family Constellation work.
I recently retired as a Trustee of Simmons University, where I chaired the Student Experience Committee, Executive Development and Compensation Committee, and served on the Finance, Audit and Executive Committees. I am a former board member of the Collegiate Church, the Center for Hearing and Communication, the Robert Toigo Foundation and C. Brewer & Co, Ltd.
I was previously a Managing Director and senior banker with JP Morgan Chase and am currently working on a memoir about my experiences from 9/11 to the 2008 financial crisis.
